As a sole business owner, Heather is unable to absorb the losses for missed appointments or appointments cancelled within a 24 hour period of the scheduled appointment. Because of the loss of income, and the fact that she can only work with one client at a time, she asks clients respect her time and pay for missed appointments and late cancellations. Given that she is often scheduled out 4 to 8 weeks in advance, earlier cancellations allow Heather to move clients in need into those cancelled spots, so it's a win-win for everyone, but with less than 24 hours notice, or same day cancellations, it can be impossible for Heather to fill the appointment while she is working that same day.
She asks that clients pay for their missed appointments online, as soon as they can after the missed appointments:
